So do we have the inspired Word of God, or don’t we? Can we trust one version more than another? Are we in danger of losing the purity of
God’s Word altogether?

Did we win?

… there is a sense in this verse that through our sufferings we may become weakened, as in having come through a battle – tired and torn and damaged – and that He himself will repair us …
They and their families simply took God’s Word at face value. Hide it in your heart. Post it on your door frames. Talk about it coming and going. Meditate on it. Live by it.
